Live Like Sion is a way of life. To live life full of Aloha and Respect for your family, friends and community. Living each day to the fullest and never taking anything for granted. Perpetuating the good in all of us, in and out of the water.

Sion Milosky was a waterman. He grew up in the ocean; surfing, diving and fishing. Sion began his professional surfing career as a longboarder, rose to fame when he began paddling into some of the biggest waves ever recorded. Whether it was casually slipping into Second Reef Pipe or sending himself over the ledge on the North Shore’s outer reefs, Sion was one of the most respected individuals in the big-wave surfing scene. As friendly as he was determined, Sion’s good-natured attitude and integrity made him a friend to all.

Sion was a professional surfer who also spent many of his years working as a craftsman. He was known for his inteliligence, witt and integrity. He could do anything he set his mind to and that was inspiring to many. “There is no such thing as can’t” he would say. His word meant everything and his compassion and integrity was undeniable. He was always the first person anyone would call when they needed help in his community. He had humility and a big heart and led by example. Sion was a Jack of all trades-from building cars, boats, motor bikes to building gates he was proud of his blue-collar background. Sion found solace knowing that he was able to provide for his wife and two daughters by working with his hands.

After gaining traction in the surf media in 2009, Sion’s career reached a crescendo when he graced the cover of three different surf magazines and was e Surfing Magazine’s North Shore Underground award.

Sion Milosky will forever be an icon of our sport of surfing. Sion tragically passed on March 16, 2011 while surfing Mavericks. Sion’s dedication to big wave surfing raised the level as we know it. Whether it was Waimea Bay, Phantoms, Peahi, Mavericks or any Outer Reef, Sion’s passion and respect for the ocean was undeniable.

As committed as he was to surfing and the ocean, Sion’s dedication to his family came first, followed by his community.

Dedicated to keeping Sion’s legacy alive and sharing his values of family, friends and loved ones, Like Like Sion was created.
